•2001 – Mansion and property acquired.

•2002 – Re-enactment of Encampment & Craft Show.

•2003 - Re-enactment of Encampment, Craft Show & Children’s Archeological Camps.

•2004 – Re-enactment of Van Schaick-Gansevoort Wedding, Children’s Archeological Camps, and Salute to the Troops Dinner & Awards Ceremony.

•2005 – Children’s Archeological Camps with Hartgen Assoc.

•2006 – Installation of commemorative bricks on Walkway to the Past, furnace repair.

•2007 – Organized stock gifting program, electrical system upgraded, chimney & liner replaced.

•2008 – Energy-efficient window panels installed, and mansion named to NYS Revolutionary War Heritage Trail.

•2009 – Replaced front & back staircases, donated commemorative plaque to City of Cohoes, and ran workshops for middle schools.  Quadricentennial Celebration & Dutch Weekend with Assemblyman Jack McEneny & Janni Venema from the New Netherlands Project. Native American Indian Encampment with Seneca Glenn Bentz.

•2010 – Genealogical Library room furnished & dedicated. Mansion improvements included roof repairs, slate replacements, handicap-accessible steps, window protection, and winterizing to reduce heating costs.

•2011 – Awarded grant from DAR for historic preservation, repaired basement storm windows and restored Cemetery.  Cohoes Walking Trail opened, providing view of Hudson River.

•2012 - Eagle Scout Project created a walkway to the Van Schaick Cemetery, cleared out debris from the cemetery, found missing stones, and created a map of the cemetery. – Heritage Day celebrated the contributions of Native American Indians to our culture.

•2013 – Joined the Blue Star Museum Program, offering free services to military families.

- DAR Historic Preservation Medal awarded to David Kehn for his decade of service to the Van Schaick Mansion. – Heritage Day at the Van Schaick Mansion celebrated Colonial Craftsmanship.

2014 – Restored/replaced roof, continued fund-raising initiative, offered monthly tours, joined Cohoes Heritage Day, Hudson River Ramble, and Choose Cohoes.

2015 – Installed air conditioning, restored front door, masonry in basement, and front porch columns.  Fund-raising cocktail party, raffle of Antler Art, Blue Star Museum affiliation.  Heritage day included Blacksmith and Colonial Games

2016 – Increased social media presence with Facebook pages and updated websites, Open monthly for tours, Heritage Day, affiliations with other historic groups.
